Life

Every human life is a gift from God and is created in the image and likeness of God.

Therefore, human life is sacred and must be protected at all stages, from fertilization to natural death. Every human life is also worthy of dignity and respect. We are particularly responsible to protect the life and dignity of the most vulnerable in our society – the unborn, disabled and elderly.

We support efforts to protect the lives of the unborn and oppose efforts to end the lives of the disabled and elderly. Each human life must also be protected and respected in scientific research. We oppose research that requires the destruction of a human embryo or that clones a human embryo.

Restoring the Right to Life-Saving Care for Infants Born Alive

HF24
Failed
SF461
Tabled
Infants born alive after failed abortion attempts must be given life-saving medical care. The Minnesota legislature removed this requirement from state statute 2023 in the omnibus Health bill. We advocate for restoring the requirement for life-saving medical care to ensure every child, no matter the circumstances of birth, receives a chance at life.
