Join us in our mission!
Is MFC a think tank?
No. We are a nonprofit, gospel-first issue advocacy group.
Is Minnesota Family Council a partisan organization?
No. We are not affiliated with a political party. Instead, we promote policies that are in line with our Christian values.
How does MFC engage in government?
We help draft public policy, track legislation, provide legislative testimonies and advise our legislators. Through our Church Ambassador Network, we also meet with and pray for our elected officials. We are the Protestant voice at the Capitol for life, family, and religious freedom.
What is the difference between Minnesota Family Council and Minnesota Family Institute?
Minnesota Family Council is the advocacy arm (501(c)(4)), lobbying on legislation and mobilizing Christian voters in elections.
Minnesota Family Institute is the educational arm (501(c)(3)), focused on biblically grounded training and voter education. Donations to MFI are tax‑deductible; donations to MFC are not.
How can I get involved?
From prayer, to volunteering, to donating, there are plenty of ways to get involved through Minnesota Family Council.
